- Flooring and wall finishes
- Elderly-friendly options (step-free entry, grab rails, accessible bathroom — see 2 Bedroom)
- External cladding and roof colour
Custom structural changes (extra rooms, different footprint) are quoted separately — you'll know the number before you commit.

- Granny flats are allowed on most residential blocks in Victoria, subject to council planning rules.
- In many cases you do not need to live on the property yourself to build one (check your council's current rules).
