Five steps

From consultation to handover.

Within 1 week

Visit/assess your site, confirm the block can take a granny flat, answer your questions.

You: Tell us your goals (rent, family, investment).

2–4 weeks

Tailor the floor plan to your block; lock the inclusions list.

You: Choose your finishes and confirm the plan.

No cost — design is included in the fixed price.

8–16 weeks (council-dependent)

Prepare and lodge the application; track it through council.

You: Provide required property documents.

Payment 1 — Permit/approval fee, due on signing.

12–16 weeks

Build to Australian standards; regular progress updates; 6 milestone payments tied to progress.

You: Attend milestone inspections (we’ll prompt you).

Payments 2–7 — Six construction milestone payments.

Final stage

Final inspection, fix any snags, hand over the keys and warranty details.

You: Move in (or hand it to your tenant).

Payment 7 — Final milestone, on completion.
